332 journals from new publisher Sciendo – a 2018 relaunch of De Gruyter Open – have been successfully accepted by top indexing services Clarivate, Scopus, and PubMed.
Clarivate Analytics, Elsevier’s citation database Scopus and eminent medical indexers PubMed have accepted 332 journals published by Sciendo, highlighting the impact the relaunch has had in one year of being rebranded.
The journal selection process is rigorous, and only the best publications are accepted for coverage in such prestigious indexing services.
CEO of Sciendo, Jacek Ciesielski said: “We’ve had a successful year with the recognition our journals have received. Sciendo is a unique new publisher that offers full abstracting and indexing service support, taking great care of the journals it publishes.”
“Journals wanting to be accepted by Scopus must undergo a lengthy and detailed review by experts from the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board, which consists of scientists, researchers and librarians from all over the world. We are therefore delighted with all the inclusions of our titles to these highly respected services.”
Recent Sciendo additions accepted and indexed Clarivate Analytics include – Acta Technologica Agriculturae, The EuroBiotech Journal, Journal of Management and Business Administration and the Journal of Data and Information Science – in its Web of Science Core Collection.
Scopus, one of the largest abstract and citation databases of peer-reviewed literature with nearly 70 million records, recently accepted the Sciendo titles Bulletin of Geography, Chemistry-Didactics-Ecology-Metrology, Discussiones Mathematicae – General Algebra and Applications, GeoScape, International and Comparative Law Review and Pneumologia.
The Sciendo-published Journal of Helminthologia was also indexed by leading medical indexing service PubMed Central.
