Universities and other institutions, wanting to publish their academic journal online within the open access model don’t always have to finance its creation and release. With the APC model, fees are covered by the authors of the published articles. If the collected fees are higher than publishing costs, you can generate additional income. The solution applies to journals with sufficient Impact Factor and indexing.

How does it work?
In brief, in the APC model, Sciendo charges article authors with publishing fees. The collected fees are used to cover general publishing costs, and the surplus income is transferred to the journal owners.
Publishing an academic journal with Sciendo is easier than you might expect. For more information on the services provided by our academic publishing house, please contact our representative. Detailed information on the APC model can be found in our brochure.
